Raising children according to the laws, statutes, and commandments of the Most High is not just a responsibility—it is a necessity for the survival of our nation. In Israel United in Christ (IUIC), we understand that the future of the 12 Tribes of Israel—The So-Blacks, Hispanics, and Native Americans—depends on properly instilling biblical discipline, wisdom, and righteousness in our children.
Today, our communities suffer from high crime rates, broken families, and a complete disregard for the commandments of God. These conditions stem from the curses of Deuteronomy 28, and they will only worsen unless we return to the Most High’s instructions on child-rearing. The Scriptures provide clear guidance on how to raise our children to be obedient, God-fearing, and ready to rebuild the nation of Israel.
Our children are being raised in an environment filled with sin, lawlessness, and self-destruction. The Bible foretold that in the last days, our people would turn against one another and forsake righteousness:
“And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one by his neighbour: the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient, and the base against the honourable.”
— Isaiah 3:5
In our communities today, we see young men and women openly disrespecting their elders, lacking discipline, and engaging in violence against one another. Black-on-Black crime is at an all-time high, a direct fulfillment of biblical prophecy:
“Hear the word of the Lord, ye children of Israel: for the Lord hath a controversy with the inhabitants of the land, because there is no truth, nor mercy, nor knowledge of God in the land. By swearing, and lying, and killing, and stealing, and committing adultery, they break out, and blood toucheth blood.”
— Hosea 4:1-2
“Blood toucheth blood” refers to the cycle of Black-on-Black violence, where our young men kill each other in the streets without remorse. Instead of standing together as a nation, our people have risen against one another as enemies:
“Even of late my people is risen up as an enemy…”
— Micah 2:8
“And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many. And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.”
— Matthew 24:11-12
This lack of love and unity is why we see families torn apart, parents failing to discipline their children, and our youth falling into crime, drugs, and gang culture. The Bible further describes the dangers our people face from their own brothers:
“In journeyings often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen…”
— 2 Corinthians 11:26
The curses of Deuteronomy 28 have led to a generation of youth who hate one another, following the prophecy in Titus:
“For we ourselves also were sometimes foolish, disobedient, deceived, serving divers lusts and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.”
— Titus 3:3
Without the discipline and structure of the Most High’s commandments, our children become victims of these curses. The Scriptures warn us that evil is ingrained in them from a young age:
“For the imagination of man’s heart is evil from his youth…”
— Genesis 8:21
If left unchecked, this evil manifests into disobedience, rebellion, and destruction. The only way to break this cycle is by raising our children according to the commandments of the Most High.
The Most High has given us clear instructions on how to raise our children. It starts with keeping His commandments and diligently teaching them to our sons and daughters:
“Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the judgments, which the Lord your God commanded to teach you…That thou mightest fear the Lord thy God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments… And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.”
— Deuteronomy 6:1-9
“For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children.”
— Psalms 78:5
Children must be taught the laws of the Most High at an early age so that they do not depart from them:
“Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.”
— Proverbs 22:6
Correction is an essential part of raising righteous children. The Bible commands parents to discipline their children to prevent them from falling into wickedness:
“He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.”
— Proverbs 13:24
“Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die.”
— Proverbs 23:13-14
“The rod and reproof give wisdom: but a child left to himself bringeth his mother to shame.”
— Proverbs 29:15
“Correct thy son, and he shall give thee rest; yea, he shall give delight unto thy soul.”
— Proverbs 29:17
The Apocrypha further expands on the importance of discipline:
“He that loveth his son causeth him oft to feel the rod, that he may have joy of him in the end.”
— Sirach 30:1
“Bow down his neck while he is young, and beat him on the sides while he is a child, lest he wax stubborn, and be disobedient unto thee, and so bring sorrow to thine heart.”
— Sirach 30:12
Fathers have the responsibility to nurture their children in righteousness:
“And, ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord.”
— Ephesians 6:4
“Children, obey your parents in all things: for this is well pleasing unto the Lord.”
— Colossians 3:20
Mothers must also watch over their daughters with diligence:
“The father waketh for the daughter, when no man knoweth; and the care for her taketh away sleep….”
— Sirach 42:9-11
A shameless daughter will bring dishonor to her family, which is why parents must watch over them carefully:
“If thy daughter be shameless, keep her in straitly, lest she abuse herself through overmuch liberty.”
— Sirach 26:10-12
The state of our children today is a direct result of failing to follow the Most High’s commandments. If we continue to neglect biblical discipline, we will see more crime, disobedience, and destruction in our communities. However, if we return to the laws, statutes, and commandments, we can raise a generation that fears the Lord, honors their parents, and rebuilds the nation of Israel.
Let us take up this divine responsibility and ensure that our children grow in the fear and wisdom of the Most High, preparing them to become righteous men and women of Israel.
“As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”
— Joshua 24:15
